Eligible subscribers can link a Hulu profile to Disney+. Linking profiles and activating a subscription are separate tasks.
Follow the official linking steps
- Open Disney+ on a supported device or visit its website.
- Sign in with the email associated with your Hulu account.
- Select the Hulu profile you want to link.
- Choose a new Disney+ profile based on that profile, or link to an existing Disney+ profile.
- Confirm or update the content rating.
Check eligibility first
The profile-linking guide excludes Live TV plans, the Disney+, Hulu, Max bundle, and Hulu add-ons at the time described. Kid profiles and profiles under 18 do not link. If your plan is eligible but the prompt is missing, Disney recommends updating the Disney+ app.
Understand the direction of the link
Hulu activity can appear in Disney+ after linking. Disney+ actions do not carry back into Hulu. Do not use the feature as a two-way profile synchronization tool.
Before you confirm
Check the chosen profile name and content rating carefully, especially on a shared account. If the displayed options differ, use official support rather than creating additional paid subscriptions to test the process.
